Ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2⁄3 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2⁄3 cup vegetable oil
Lemon Syrup
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- Sift flour and baking powder with sugar.
- Whisk eggs, sour cream, lemon rind, lemon juice and oil together.
- Pour into dry ingredients.
- Spread in a 8 inch pan and Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
- For syrup.
- combine ingredients and drizzle over cake while still warm.
