Lemon Pound Cake

A very easy to make pound cake that is good

Ingredients

• 3  cups plain flour
• 3  cups sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup shortening, crisco
• 1⁄2 lb butter
• 3  eggs
• 1  tablespoon pure vanilla extract
• 1  cup milk
• 1  tablespoon  lemon extract

Directions

1. sift flour and baking powder first.
2. preheat oven to 350.
3. mix baking powder and salt together well.
4. add crisco, butter, and sugar untill creamy.
5. add 3 eggs mix well.
6. add flour and milk mix well.
7. add vanilla and lemon mix until creamy.
8. grease and flour pan.
9. bake 1 hour 25 minute.
