Lemon Cake

I tried out this adopted recipe today, and must say the results were disappointing. I have to admit, the lack of detailed instructions, and any provision for leavening made me suspect it from the start. I added some baking powder to the rest of the batter and am trying again. I would not recommend this unless you are feeling very adventuresome. I do hope to get it right and repost the recipe with a picture some day. Show more

Directions

  1. Sift together dry ingredients.
  2. Gradually blend in wet ingredients until combined.
  3. Bake in little lemon shaped molds at 350 for 20 min until set.
  4. Let cool.
