Lemon Bread Abm

Tangy lemon taste in a delicate yeast bread with a rich dark brown crust. Vary it by using lime instead. Try it with nuts or fruits added. Nice for afternoon tea.

Ingredients

• 1  tablespoon  yeast
• 3  cups bread flour
• 1⁄4 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 3⁄4 cup milk, scalded
• 1  egg
• 1  egg yolk
• 1⁄4 teaspoon  lemon extract
• 2  teaspoons lemon peel, grated

Directions

1. Make according to your bread maker's instructions on standard or white loaf.
