Left-Over Pork Tenderloin Sausage Soup

Ingredients
- 1⁄2-3⁄4 lb pork tenderloin, cooked and chopped in small pieces
- 1⁄4 lb smoked sausage, cooked and chopped in small pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can hot chili beans
- 3 tablespoons barley
- 1 -1 1⁄2 quart water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon beef base
Directions
- Brown the two meats in the vegetable oil until golden.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer until the barley is well cooked.
- The soup should be slightly thick.
