Le Vieux Carre Cocktail

This is a signature drink of the Monteleone Hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Their carousel lounge rotates slowly around the bar, so it's hard to tell if you get dizzy from the ride, or the drink.

Ingredients

• 1  ounce  rye whiskey
• 1  ounce cognac
• 1  ounce sweet vermouth
• 1  teaspoon  benedictine, d.o.m
• 2  dashes  peychaud's  bitters
• 2  dashes  Angostura bitters

Directions

1. Mix all ingredient in a glass with ice.
