It was in 1904 that Ovaltine was developed in Bern, Switzerland. And it has remained a staple milk-flavoring favorite since it was first introduced to the world market more than a hundred years ago. Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons  ovaltine, chocolate powder mix (Rich Chocolate is my favorite)
  • 8  ounces low-fat milk (cold or hot)
  • 1  ounce  peppermint schnapps

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and serve in a tall glass. Be sure to use a hot beverage mug if you prefer hot milk.
