  1. combine grape gelatin and hot water and stir till dissolved.
  2. refrigerate until it just starts to set up or jell.
  3. beat cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar together.
  4. add whipped topping and pineapple.
  5. mix well.
  6. fold into chilled gelatin.
