Laura's Spicy Pepper Crackers

A coworker gave this recipe to me. They are a delicious and addicting snack. Great "appetizer" on special occasions but simple enough to make any day! The cooking time includes the time to let the crackers set overnight. Show more

Yields: 150 crackers

Ingredients

  • 1  cup canola oil
  • 1 (16 ounce) envelope  hidden valley ranch dressing mix
  • 2 -4  tablespoons red pepper flakes, crushed
  • 1 (8 ounce) envelope  good seasons cheese garlic  salad dressing mix
  • 1 (1 lb) box  saltine crackers (use all four sleeves)

Directions

  1. Mix 1st four ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Pour over crackers into a 2-gallon zip-loc bag.
  3. Tumble crackers until well coated (10-15 mins).
  4. Set over night tossing occasionally.
  5. Transfer to a clean zip-loc bag and serve with cream cheese or alone.
