Larry's Spiced Peaches

Yields: 6 pints
Ingredients
- 26 peaches
- 1⁄2 lb brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 lbs sugar
- 2 cups water
- 4 teaspoons fruit fresh
Directions
- Scald peaches.
- Take skin off peel and pit.
- Cut peaches in half or slices, if you like.
- Mix rest of ingredients and let marinate 4 hours.
- Make sure liquid covers peaches.
- Then put in pint jars processed in water bath 10 minutes or process according to Ball directions.
