Lady's Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 32 ounces peach slices in heavy syrup
Directions
- Melt butter in 2 quart pan. Allow to cool. Make batter with flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Pour over cooled butter (don't stir!). Add large can (syrup and all) over the top of batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
