La Tuna Prickly Pear Cocktail

This cocktail is popular along the West Coast of Mexico. Serve with cooked hulled shrimp. Posted for Summer '09 Comfort Cafe.

Ingredients

• 4  dashes  bitters
• 1 1⁄2 ounces  tequila, 1 jigger
• 1  teaspoon lime juice
•  club soda
•  salt
•  prickly pear, slices for garnish

Directions

1. Use an Old-Fashioned glass and fill with ice cubes. Pour in tequila, bitters, lime juice and club soda. Sprinkle salt on top of the ice cubes.
2. Serve with a slice of prickly pear.
