Kraut-Tunawiches

This is a very unusual combination but it is delicious. I've been making this for at least 35 years. Even several of my grandkids love it. Be sure to butter the buns. Show more

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2  cups sauerkraut (drained)
  • 6 12 ounces canned tuna, drained
  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 14 cup green pepper, diced
  • 2  tablespoons onions, chopped
  • 3  tablespoons  sweet pickle relish
  • 14 teaspoon  celery salt
  • 6  hamburger buns, split and buttered

Directions

  1. Combine kraut, tuna, mayonnaise green pepper, onion, relish and celery salt. Mix well and chill. Fill hamberger buns with kraut-tuna salad.
