Kookie Bars

I have not tried this recipe. I got the recipe from Schwans.

Ready In: 40 mins

Serves: 6-8

Yields: 30 bars

Ingredients

  • 2 12 lbs  schwans frozen  refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, thawed
  • 1  cup pecans
  • 1  cup  caramel topping
  • 1  cup flour
  • 1  cup peanut butter
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 1  egg
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla
  • 12  ounces  chocolate frosting

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375.
  2. Thaw 30 pieces Schwan's cookie dough.
  3. Press cookie dough and 1/2 cup pecans into ungreased 9"x13" baking pan. Pour caramel topping over the top and set aside.
  4. In medium bowl, combine flour, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla; stir until well blended. Sprinkle over caramel topping and press down.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool then spread with frosting and sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecan pieces. To make it easier to cut into bars, you can put pan in the freezer for 30 minutes.
