Klah

"Klah: a hot, stimulating drink made from tree bark and tasting faintly of cinnamon." - Anne McCaffrey: The Dragonriders of Pern. This is the classic recipe from "The Dragonlover's Guide to Pern" but most people have their own version.

Ingredients

• 2  tablespoons  sweet ground chocolate
• 1⁄2 cup  dark cocoa (same as Dutch cocoa)
• 3⁄8 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1  teaspoon  dark instant coffee, ground to a powder
• 1  pinch nutmeg

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Use 2 to 4 tsp per cup of boiling water.
3. Mix well.
4. The klah should be thick, much like hot cocoa.
