Kk's Banana Pudding

Serves: 10-12

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler.
  2. Blend in 2 eggs, 1 egg yolk and milk.
  3. Add butter.
  4. Cook uncovered, over boiling water 10-12 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  6. Reserve 10 wafers for garnish.
  7. Line bottom of a 1 ½ quart baking dish with vanilla wafers.
  8. Cover the wafers with sliced bananas.
  9. Pour 1/3 of the custard over the bananas.
  10. Continue to layer wafers, bananas and custard to make a
  11. total of 3 layers each ending with the custard.
  12. Crumble about 10 wafers and sprinkle over the top.
  13. Cool slightly or refrigerate a few hour until chilled.
  14. Relax and enjoy. . .
