Kimberly Dawn's Lentils

Ingredients
- 16 ounces dried lentils
- 48 ounces chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon (better than bullion)
- 5 stalks celery (chopped)
- 3 -4 carrots (chopped)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
Directions
- saute onion celery and garlic.
- Rinse lentils several times.
- Boil lentils in chicken broth and water. Add 2 T. Better than Bullion and 2 T tomato paste.
- Add sauted vegetables and carrots, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 hour.
- Enjoy!
