Key Lime Margarita

Clipped from Coastal Living magazine, this recipe is from Jimmy haw of Loteria Grill in Hollywood, CA. For a spicy jalapeno version, add 1.5 teapoons jalapeno chile sauce to the shaker.

Ingredients

•  lime wedge
•  coarse salt
• 2  ounces key lime juice, freshly squeezed
• 1  ounce  agave nectar (or simple syrup)
• 1 1⁄2 ounces  tequila
• 1  tablespoon  premium  orange liqueur

Directions

1. Rub the rim of a rocks or margarita glass with lime wedge, then dip in coarse salt.
2. Combine Key lime juice and remaining ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously and pour into prepared glass.
