  1. Cream butter by hand.
  2. By hand, alternately blend in powdered sugar and bourbon.
  3. DO NOT USE MIXER.
  4. Fold in pecans.
  5. Drop by 2/3 teaspoonful onto wax-paper lined cookie sheets.
  6. Cover with wax paper.
  7. Refrigerate until set.
  8. Cover and store in refrigerator.
