Kaye's Mexican Casserole Verde

Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (15 ounce) cans green enchilada sauce
- 1 (10 3/4ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 3/4ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 (4 ounce) cans cans diced green chilies
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped
- 8 ounces longhorn cheddar cheese (can use more, I do!)
- 1 (15 ounce) package plain Doritos
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400*F.
- Brown meat with chopped onion and minced garlic; drain.
- Add green chilies, mushroom and chicken soups and 1 can of enchilada sauce to meat and simmer.
- Spray deep dish with cooking oil.
- Layer ingredients with Doritos, pouring a little enchilada sauce over each layer.
- Finish with a layer of cheese.
- Cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Let cool 10 minutes to set up.
