Kay Roy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yields: 24-36 cookies
Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup butter
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups unsifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoons on lightly greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375° 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
