Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups cornmeal
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted fat
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients and add the milk. Beat the fat with eggs until light. Add to batter and mix well. Pour into a very hot, well-buttered pan.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
