Kahlua Pumpkin Pie

I got this recipe out of a Kahlua recipe book. I thought it might be a nice twist to an old favorite.

Ingredients

• 1  pie crust
• 1  cup evaporated milk
• 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1⁄4 cup Kahlua
• 1⁄4 cup light corn syrup
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1⁄2 cups canned pumpkin
• 2  eggs

Directions

1. beat eggs and add pumpkin.
2. stir in rest of ingredients well.
3. preheat oven 450.
4. cook empty and pricked pie shell 8 minutes.
5. carefully pour filling into pie shell.
6. reduce oven to 325.
7. bake for about 45-50 minutes.
8. cool on wire rack.
