Junior Mint Sauce

If you love Junior Mints, you will adore this sauce. Use it to make milkshakes, pour it over ice cream or cake - mmm. From the Chicago Tribune magazine in the Sunday paper.

• Yields: 4 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 2 (4 3/4ounce) boxes  Junior mints
• 5  ounces  semisweet chocolate, chopped
• 3  ounces bittersweet chocolate or 3  ounces  semisweet chocolate, chopped
• 2  cups  whipping cream
• 1 1⁄4 cups  whole milk

Directions

1. Place Junior Mints and chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
2. Heat cream and milk to a boil.
3. Pour over mints and chocolate. Let stand 5 minutes.
4. Whisk until smooth.
5. Pour into a glass jar, cover and refrigerate.
