Jerk Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 1 inch ginger, fresh, sliced
- 3 habanero peppers, whole (more if you like it hot)
- 5 -6 garlic cloves
- 6 -8 green onions
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup thyme, fresh
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar, white
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons Kitchen Bouquet or 2 tablespoons maggi seasoning
- 2 tablespoons ground allspice
- 2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
Directions
- Place all ingredients in blender and puree to a thick sauce.
- Let it sit overnight before use.
- Marinate meat overnight.
