  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir packet of gold star chili spice mix into cooked ground beef.
  4. Spread cream cheese on bottom of baking tray.
  5. Spread ground beef over the cream cheese.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
  8. If you want to go Midwestern Authentic, serve with Ruffles potato chips. Crackers or tortilla chips also work.
