Jam Crumble Cake

Ingredients
Cake
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup favorite jam
crumb topping
- 3⁄4 cup melted butter
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1⁄2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- lightly grease 9" round cake pan or bundt pan.
- combine flour, salt,spices,baking powder.
- in separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, butter, vanilla.
- whisk in dry ingredients.
- pour into prepared pan, and dollop jam over the top.
- swirl the jam into the top of batter lightly.
- prepare crumb topping:
- whisk dry ingredients together, and then work in melted butter.
- drop by clumpies all-over the top of batter.
- bake 25-30 minutes, until sides start to pull from pan.
