Jalapeno Jelly Glaze

This glaze is very good with pork or ham. It will glaze about 4-6 chops.

Serves: 4-6

Yields: 1/3 cup

Ingredients

  • 14 cup  jalapeno jelly
  • 2  tablespoons lime juice
  • 1  tablespoon cilantro, minced

Directions

  1. Melt the jelly or preserves over low heat or in a microwave oven.
  2. Stir in flavoring ingredients.
  3. Note: Chunky preserves melt more readily when they are first pureed in a blender or food processor.
