Izakaya Sakura Clams Steamed With Sake

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs manila clams
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 tablespoons sake
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon oil
Directions
- In midsize pan, heat 1/4 tablespoon oil and add minced garlic. Add Manila clams and sake.
- Close lid and steam until all clams are opened. Discard any that do not open.
- Add soy sauce just before serving. Top with green onions.
