Italian Orchard Acorn Squash

Ingredients
- 1 medium acorn squash
- 3⁄4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 dash ground cinnamon or 1 dash nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Halve squash lengthwise. Remove seeds and stringy membranes.
- Bake 40-45 minutes.
- Fill squash with applesauce, brushing a bit over the exposed edges. Sprinkle with spice.
- Broil 4-5 minutes.
