Italian Easter Cookies: “frosted Dove”

For this Easter holidays we prepare Frost Dove, because in Italy “Dove Cake” (la Colomba) is a special traditional dish. In this case we don’t prepare cake but cookies. Show more

  1. Peel scratched lemon, put all together and when you have an uniform dough put in the fridge for 2 hours.
  2. Than you can lay down your dough, doing cookies with an apposit cutter, and cooked for 20 minutes at 180°.
  3. For the frosting, we use powdered sugar and water, and than we put almond scale or granule sugar.
