Irma's Italian Tilapia Fillets

Ingredients
- 4 -6 1⁄2 lbs tilapia fillets
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1⁄4 cup red pepper flakes
- 4 -6 teaspoons kosher salt
- 4 -6 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 cup lemon dipping extra virgin olive oil
- 8 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 -6 lemon wedges
Directions
- Season tilapia fillets on both sides with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- In medium plastic ziplock add the lemon dipping extra virgin olive oil and the tilapia. Let marinade for 1/2 an hour in refrigerator. Remove the tilapia fillets from the marinade.
- In large plastic ziplock add the Italian seasoning bread crumbs and the red pepper flakes shake in the tilapia and thoroughly bread.
- In large skillet add the extra virgin olive oil, low-med heat. Fry up the tilapia fillets, 3 minutes on each side. Remove from oil and let it drain excessive oil on plate with napkin.
- Decorate with lemon wedges.
