Irish Mist Whiskey Carrots

These look very good and sweet; would be good for Thanksgiving.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 14 cup butter
  • 2  lbs carrots, peeled, sliced into discs
  • 12 cup  whiskey, Irish Mist
  • 12 cup brown sugar

Directions

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Add carrots.
  3. Cook for a minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add whiskey OFF the stove.
  6. Add brown sugar.
  7. Return to stove.
  8. Cook covered for 5 minutes or until carrots are as tender as you like them.
