Indian Sweet and Sour Date Sauce

Yields: 2 jars
Ingredients
- 110 g stoned dates, chopped
- 4 tablespoons sherry wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 mild red fresh chili pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 teaspoon garam masala (optional)
- 250 ml water
Directions
- Put all the ingedients in a pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cool.
- Blend in a blender till smooth.
