Impossible Bacon Pie

A recipe my husband grew up eating. Very tasty. Usually eaten with crusty bread.

• Yields: 1 pie

Ingredients

• 10  slices bacon
• 1⁄2 cup  chopped onion
• 1  cup  grated cheddar cheese
• 2  cups milk
• 1  cup Bisquick
• 4  eggs
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  dash pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Lightly grease a pie plate.
3. Place bacon, onion, and cheese in pie plate.
4. Beat remaining ingredients together until smooth.
5. Pour over bacon mixture in pie plate.
6. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
7. Let stand 15 minutes.
