Imitation Toffee

This is really a simple and easy recipe. It is real good too.

• Yields: 24 pieces

Ingredients

• 1  cup sugar
• 1  cup oleo
•  saltine crackers
• 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
• 1  cup  nuts, crushed

Directions

1. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
2. Layer with saltine crackers.
3. Combine sugar and oleo in a medium size pan.
4. Bring to a rolling boil.
5. When boiling, pour over crackers.
6. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
7. Cover with chocolate chips evenly.
8. Sprinkle nuts over top and gently push down into chocolate with a spatula.
9. Place in refrigerator till firm.
10. Break and enjoy.
