Icing in the Cake

This is a recipe i got out of an old cookbook.Its easy because of the mixes you use.I hope you enjoy! Show more

Serves: 12-16

Yields: 1 cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) package  cake mix (any flavor)
  • 3  eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup  oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can  icing (any)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to what it says on cake mix box.
  2. Mix up the cake mix like you normally would.
  3. Butter cake pan.I prefer to use a taller, thinner pan but any would do.
  4. Pour in about half of cake batter.
  5. Dollop in the can of icing.
  6. Pour in the rest of batter and cook as instructed on box.
  7. Enjoy!
