  1. Take a cabbage, wash well, and cut up into pieces about the size of your hand.
  2. Put them into the boiling water, or maybe a little more if your cabbage is a big one, along with 5-6 slices bacon.
  3. Add a pod of red pepper, cover, and cook slowly until done.
  4. This will never disagree with you.
