Hot Seafood Spread

Yields: 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 12 cup  horseradish sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package  imitation crabmeat
  • 2  tablespoons  chopped onions
  • 12 cup  sliced almonds, toasted
  •  paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.
  2. Mix cream cheese and horseradish sauce until well blended.
  3. Stir in crab and onion.
  4. Spread into 9-inch plate or quiche dish.
  5. Top with almond and sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Bake 20 minutes.
  7. Serve with wheat butter flavored crackers.
  8. If you want to prepare ahead of time: Prepare as directed except for baking.
  9. Wrap securely and freeze.
  10. When ready to serve, Bake frozen spread, unwrapped at 375 degrees, 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
