  1. In saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with water. Stir for 2 minutes, or until thick.
  2. Remove from heat; gradually add sugar, syrup & salt. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
