Horse Race Pie

Corby's favorite pie.

• Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

• 4  eggs
• 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 2  tablespoons Bourbon
• 1  cup white corn syrup
• 1⁄2 cup  melted butter
• 1  tablespoon flour
• 1  cup whole pecans
• 1  cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. Beat eggs.
2. Add sugars, vanilla, bourbon, corn syrup, butter and flour. Mix thoroughly in mixer. Make sure butter is not too hot or it will cook the eggs in the mixture.
3. Put pecans and chocolate chips into bottom of unbaked 10" pie shell. Deep-dish pie shell will be too big.
4. Pour filling on top and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
5. Serve warm (but not too warm or will be gooey)with whipped cream.
