Delicious breakfast egg and flour bake. Great with syrup, Ice cream, or you can add omlet ingredients too! I grew up with this recipe as a favorite for special occassion breakfasts, but it's realy good for any meal. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1  cup flour
  • 6 -8  eggs (6 is a good amount no less, 8 makes it more thick and eggy like)
  • 1  cup milk
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup butter

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a 9x13 casserole dish, melt the butter in the oven while it is preheating.
  3. While the butter is melting, combine all the other ingredients.
  4. When it is mixed completely, make sure the butter is melted all the way, and pour the mixture over the butter in the pan.
  5. Cook on 425 degrees for about 20 minutes. (Bubbles in the mixture while it cooks is normal and the best part.).
  6. Cut into squares after it is cooked to a light crispy golden brown and serve with breakfast items, or for a fun treat, serve it with ice cream.
  7. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
