Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease cookie sheets.
- Combine sugar, butter, and honey in a saucepan over low heat.
- When melted remove from heat and let cool.
- Beat eggs, vanilla, baking soda and ginger together.
- Slowly add to cooled honey mixture.
- Gradually add flour.
- Drop by the spoonful onto cookie sheets.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Transfer to wire racks to cool.
