  1. Place water, sugar, and glucose into saucepan, boil to 300oF, remove from fire and add sifted bicarbonate of soda, stirring quickly till it ceases to rise, (be careful here it tends to really froth up!) pour into deep greased tins and leave till cold, break into irregular pieces.
