Honey-Peanut Squares

My neighbor, Jo makes these for brandings. Kids gobble them up

Yields: 16-20 squares

  1. Grease a 9x9 pan.
  2. Heat sugar and honey or corn syrup just to boiling in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  5. Stir in cereal and peanuts until evely coated.
  6. Pat mixture evenly in pan, using back of greased spoon.
  7. Cool 1 hour.
  8. Cut into squares.
