Honey Nut Cocktail Dogs

Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough
- 1 (16 ounce) package mini smoked sausage (Like "Lil' Smokies")
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions
- Unroll crescent roll dough. Separate into triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles or pieces. Roll a sausage in each. Place in a buttered 9 x 13 pan. In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in honey and brown sugar. Cook until mixture begins to boil. Pour mixture over prepared sausage crescents. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with toothpicks.
