Honey Nut Cocktail Dogs

I received this recipe from a good friend. I never would have guessed how much people would love this simple appetizer. I once showed up to a party with a different appetizer thinking people were probably getting tired of me bringing these. But it was quite the opposite.   1. Unroll crescent roll dough. Separate into triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles or pieces. Roll a sausage in each. Place in a buttered 9 x 13 pan. In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in honey and brown sugar. Cook until mixture begins to boil. Pour mixture over prepared sausage crescents. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with toothpicks.
