Honey Crunch Peanut Spread

A nice, healthy spread for kids (or grownups) to put on veggies. Great after school snack! Make sure you do not feed to children under two....this recipe includes honey! Show more

Serves: 8

Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 23 cup quick oats
  • 1 14 cups  smooth peanut butter
  • 12 cup honey
  • 12 cup raisins (optional)
  • 14 cup bacon (cooked and crumbled) (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Toast the oats in an ungreased shallow baking pan for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Cool and combine with the peanut butter and honey.
  4. Spread on celery, carrots, apples or pears for a great tasting, nutritious snack.
