Honey-Beer Barbecue Sauce

I found this in a Better Homes and Gardens Magzine. This sauce is excellent on chicken or ribs.

• Ready In: 30 mins
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄3 cup  chopped onion
• 1  minced garlic clove
• 1  tablespoon butter
• 3⁄4 cup  hot sauce
• 1⁄2 cup beer
• 1⁄4 cup honey
• 2  tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1  tablespoon mustard

Directions

1. melt butter in medium saucepan add onion and garlic cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients bringing to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer cooking uncovered about 20 minutes until reduced, stirring occasionally.
