Honey and Oat Cookies

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash ground cinnamon
- 1 dash ground nutmeg
- 1 dash ground cloves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar together in a med bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the honey and egg yolk.
- Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
- Roll dough into 14 equal sized balls.
- Place balls on prepared cookies sheets, leaving approx 3 inches between to allow for spreading.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and just firm.
- Cool on a rack.
