Hominy Casserole

I got this recipe from a co-worker when I lived in Florida. This is similar to Hominy Casserole already posted, but the proportions are a little different.

• Serves: 8

Ingredients

• 2 (14 ounce) cans hominy, drained
• 2 (4 ounce) cans  chopped green chilies
• 4  tablespoons butter
• 16  ounces sour cream
• 1 1⁄2 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
• 1  teaspoon chili powder (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Butter a 2 1/2 quart cassserole.
3. Combine all ingredients and bake for 30 minutes.
